Edin Forto
Bio
Edin Forto is the state level Minister of Communications and Transport. Previously, he was the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton and is also the President of Naša stranka political party.
After the war ended, Forto moved to the United States and graduated in media and journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Two years later, he graduated from Columbia University with a degree in international relations. He spent two years at Eurasia Group, a political consultancy in New York, before returning to Sarajevo where he pursued career in the corporate business when he joined Nexe Group, a Croatian industrial company specializing in building materials and road construction.
Forto was the Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton on two occasions, first in the period 2018 – 2021, and before that he was Cantonal Assemby representative in KS.
