In light of the increasing frequency of floods, droughts, and land degradation in the Western Balkans region, there is a growing need for innovative approaches that link climate adaptation, sustainable land use, and Nature-Based Solutions (NbS).

The workshop aims to:

• • • bring together young professionals, researchers, decision-makers, and representatives of international organizations;

    • present practical examples of applying nature-based solutions to disaster risk reduction and ecosystem restoration;

    • open a dialogue on integrating scientific knowledge, policy frameworks, and local knowledge in land management; and

    • contribute to a joint post-event report that will summarize regional recommendations and good practices.
