Alen Corak
Bio
Alen Corak is Vice President for Well Construction in the Offshore Atlantic Basin, a position he assumed in June 2020, based in London. Alen is responsible for business generating $4b+ in annual revenue, with 7,500 employees across 42 countries in Europe, Africa and the Americas.
Over the course of his 25-year career with SLB (formerly known as Schlumberger), Alen has held various technical, operations management, commercial, HR and HSE positions within the Reservoir Performance, Production Systems and Well Construction divisions.  Alen has worked and lived in Brazil, China, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Russia, the UK and US.
His functional and operational roles have included Global HR, Global HSE and geographical management roles.
Alen holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida, and an MBA from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, UK. He also holds executive education certificates from MIT (Strategic Innovation), UC Berkley (Digital Business) and IMD (Strategic Finance).
