Azem Kurtic

Azem joined BIRN Hub in 2022 as a correspondent from Bosnia and Herzegovina for Balkan Insight and Balkan Transitional Justice Programme. Prior to joining BIRN, he worked as a multimedia journalist covering human rights, transitional justice, environment and youth-related topics. For five years he was part of DW’s Balkan Booster project where he gained experience in mobile journalism while reporting from Western Balkan countries.
