Game On: The Potential of Digital Entertainment
Work hands-on with a game designer to create a simple game MVP, followed by a full tech analysis. In the end fire up Unreal Engine Engineering and turn the design into an actual game.
Facilitated by Game Designer, Denis Silajdzic & Senior Gameplay Programmer, Tarik Sahinovic.
Mad Head Games, founded in 2011, stands as a regional creator of action games for PC and consoles, with operational centers in Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Sarajevo. Boasting a global team of around 170 individuals, their journey began with over 60 award-winning casual games before transitioning to core. The inaugural core game, Scars Above, a captivating 3rd-person Sci-Fi shooter set in a mysterious alien world, was launched in February 2023. As a proud member of Saber Interactive since 2020, their ambitious goal is to emerge as the leading AAA developer in the SEE region. Currently, they are actively developing two new, unannounced games based on renowned IPs.

In this workshop we will explore and question some of the key theories and practical applications to become a Great Leader.
Various leadership theories argue that great leaders are genetically gifted, in order words, they are born Leaders! But is that genuinely accurate?
We will explore this concept but also look into alternative theories which outline that the path to great leadership is actually learned behaviour or in some cases – even the process of unlearning learned behaviour!
7 Habits is a character transformation program that helps you build true self confidence and form fruitful relationships. As a consequence of thinking differently and sticking to those 7 habits, you will be able to consistently and continuously produce great results and live a full and happy life. Thinking freely, setting goals, managing your time on a personal level will come naturally. Interactions gradually become easier as you form into fulfilled and well-rounded individual.
In today’s session we’ll focus on one of the most important interpersonal habits is “Think Win-Win”. Having the abundance mentality, provides a path of healthy interactions with your peers, family and all others touching your life.
Emerging Technologies and Their Impact on Society
FabLab BiH is an innovation-driven research and technology organization that develops innovative and research platforms with the aim of improving research infrastructure, developing cutting-edge technologies and accelerating innovation in BiH. They explore key transformative technologies from Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0, with a focus on Additive Manufacturing (AM), Artificial Intelligence (AI), 3D Bioprinting, Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) technologies and fundamentals from circular economy concepts.
Dizart Robotics serves as a playground of innovation, housing a range of adaptable robots designed to meet unique industrial needs. Their mission is to unlock the full potential of robotics and provide access to these technologies for companies of all sizes. But we are more than a technological center. Dizart is also an educational institution dedicated to developing the next generation of CNC and robotics experts. Their educational programs are tailored to all levels of expertise.
Mobile robots are increasingly present in all areas of human life and work: in manufacturing environment where they are used to transport parts and tools, in hospitals to transfer food and medicine, in education, in households where they are used as robot vacuum cleaners, lawnmowers, pool cleaners and like toy robots.
Therefore, mobile robots are attracting attention worldwide and are the subject of numerous researches. In order to be able to perform the planned function, robots consist of four main subsystems, namely: mechanical parts (housing with wheels), sensors, actuators and control unit.
For robot programming, numerous simulators are available today that allow testing the robot program in a virtual environment, providing a visual representation of the robot’s movements. Simple programs were created for the FESTO Robotino mobile robot.
Numerical analyses serve as an indispensable tool in the analysis and design of fluid flow systems. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) finds broad applications in various sectors, including the aerospace industry, automotive sector, energy systems, environmental engineering, and sustainable product development. As a tool that can significantly replace often expensive and rarely carbon-neutral experiments, computational fluid dynamics undoubtedly represents one of the tools for a sustainable future. CFD, like all other industrial segments, is undergoing a certain transition in the era of high technology, machine learning, and quantum computers. One inevitable question that arises is how to effectively leverage the current digital progress and enhance computational fluid dynamics.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly important in the evolution of engineering as technology advances. This presentation examines the dynamic partnership that connects engineering and AI, bringing theory to reality. Fundamental AI concepts will be demystified and its ts capabilities in comprehension, learning, and adaptation will be highlighted.
Moving into engineering, we delve into AI’s role in reshaping traditional approaches, streamlining design processes, and optimizing efficiency. Importantly, participants will not only gain insights into the symbiotic AI-engineering relationship but will also embark on a hands-on project in Python. This project, emphasizing practical applications, enables students to navigate the theoretical landscape, applying AI principles to shape the future of engineering through streamlined data analysis.
