
Samira Nuhanovic
Samira Nuhanovic currently serves as a COO of Softhouse Balkans, Sarajevo based office of Softhouse, Swedish IT consultancy company. She has more than sixteen years of experience supporting people and organizations’ development in diverse, international and local contexts. From setting up the social business incubator to designing leadership programs, and managing an IT company, Samira’s work focuses on understanding the innate capabilities of teams and how to align them to the organizational values to allow for maximum impact.
Samira holds an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in cooperative economics from the European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises affiliated with the University of Trento in Italy. She authored and co-authored several scientific articles and book chapters of which the most notable is her contribution to the Oxford Handbook of Mutual, Co-operative and Co-owned Businesses. In the beginning of 2019, in collaboration with the Brain Child Collective, a Chicago based company, Samira helped launch an initiative in Bosnia that is focused on providing young professionals with tools to discover their strengths and hone their leadership skills.
