Vildana Mahmutovic

Ms. Mahmutović led the first environmental and social impact assessment for mineral resources in the country, specifically for the Vareš Project, published in December 2021. 

With more than 10 years of experience in the field of environment, sustainability, and ESG standards, Vildana gained her expertise working in the consulting sector with nearly all major industries in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including projects with the USAID.

In her current capacity, Ms. Mahmutović is responsible for further development and promotion of the company’s sustainability strategy. The primary role of sustainability within the Adriatic Metals is to measure its impact and improve sustainability performance through the development and implementation of sustainability and ESG strategies. 

These strategies aim to attract investors, strengthen the company’s social license to operate, increase employee motivation, and help the company generate sustainable benefits for local communities and the country.
